It is even giving away a Canningvale bathrobe for Mum with some items purchased including vacuums, small appliances, and microwaves.
JB Hi-Fi is also offering 20% off Apple computers (iPad anyone?), Acer tablets and is selling Sony Wi-Fi Touch Reader – for $99, Kobo ereader for a cheap $49, and has 20% off Blu Ray/DVDs including Baz Luhrmann DVDs.
Meanwhile, Dick Smith is doing Mothers Day too, promoting Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 for $449 as the perfect Mother Day gift on its website, as well as Amazon Kindle for $229, hairdryers for $24.95 and $79 digital photo frames.
It will even throw in a Bluetooth Retro Phone worth $50 on all purchases over $150.
Panasonic and Samsung too are all battling it out for the Mother Day consumers this weekend ahead of Sunday.
Panasonic are flogging their bread maker as the “ideal” gift for Mum, while Samsung are positioning their Galaxy WB250F Smart Camera costing $279 and S4 “life companion” smartphone as “Mum’s best friend this Mother’s Day.”
