No, You Can’t Buy Samsung NotePRO 12.2 Instore
The just-released GALAXY NotePRO has a 12.2″ display screen with 4 million pixel resolution, 2.3GHz quad core processor, 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP on the front, multitasking across four windows, stylus S Pen and 32GB memory.
However, due to limited stock, the tablet won’t be available to buy in store at Optus Sydney stores or elsewhere – its being sold at the telco’s concept store at Bourke St, Melbourne only, but is available online.
“Customers tend to buy tablets more online than instore,” an Optus spokespersons told Smarthouse, saying the NotePro 12.2 is a “niche” tablet, with the Android hero tablet being Galaxy Tab 10.1, which is available in all stores.
NotePro isn’t cheap, costs RRP $1098 outright.
Optus plans 2-year plans start at $63 ($43 tablet fee + $20 plan) with 1.5GB data. Theres higher $73 plan has 4GB data, or $103 with a massive 10GB allowance.
The cheapest plan is $43 p.m with 100MB data.
12 month options start at $91 for 100MB data so $106 to $146 plans are better options if you use more than 1GB data.
The new 12″ Android tablet will go on sale at Optus other concept store in Queen St, Brisbane, at the end of the month.
However, in store availability is likely to increase as more stock is made available, the spokesperson said.
Samsung Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is now available in all Optus stores. Plans start from $34 a month.
