“Customers tend to buy tablets more online than instore,” an Optus spokespersons told Smarthouse, saying the NotePro 12.2 is a “niche” tablet, with the Android hero tablet being Galaxy Tab 10.1, which is available in all stores.
NotePro isn’t cheap, costs RRP $1098 outright.
Optus plans 2-year plans start at $63 ($43 tablet fee + $20 plan) with 1.5GB data. Theres higher $73 plan has 4GB data, or $103 with a massive 10GB allowance.
The cheapest plan is $43 p.m with 100MB data.
12 month options start at $91 for 100MB data so $106 to $146 plans are better options if you use more than 1GB data.
The new 12″ Android tablet will go on sale at Optus other concept store in Queen St, Brisbane, at the end of the month.
However, in store availability is likely to increase as more stock is made available, the spokesperson said.
Samsung Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is now available in all Optus stores. Plans start from $34 a month.
