Webcollage Debuts Alexa For Voice Control Shopping

Used by the world’s top retailers and brands, Webcollage has introduced Amazon Alexa for voice-controlled shopping with its product syndication platform.

A new Product Selectors update on Amazon’s website debuts Alexa integration for Webcollage.

Support for Google Assistant is reportedly in the works, and likely to launch sometime soon.

By harnessing Alexa, a consumer is guided through a series of voice-controlled questions, and matched with recommended products.

Individuals are directed to a retailer’s page (within the Webcollage network), featuring an array of detailed product content.

Webcollage CEO, John Federman, affirms voice-activated product searching is a “natural” integration to its platform:

“Ours is a landscape and category defined by innovation. Voice activated product search is a natural to be integrated into our platform at scale”

“The Webcollage platform allows manufacturers to create, publish and syndicate content for an engaging consumer product experience – that means we’ll continually incorporate the newest technologies to ensure every consumer engages the way that best suits them.”

Individuals can obtain more information on Amazon’s website (by searching “Product Selector” under Alexa Skills) or clicking here.
