Victrola, an audio manufacturer, has unveiled a new high-end turntable, which can work well with some of the world’s top wireless speakers.
Called the Victrola Stream Sapphire, it retails for U$1,499 (Australian pricing and availability still to come), and is packed with premium components.
These include an Ortofon Blue 2M cartridge, along with a brushless motor, and a carbon fibre tonearm. It’s has a walnut veneer and can support 24bit / 48kHz lossless FLAC audio.
There’s support for the ‘Works With Sonos’ program, as well as Roon. The device also supports the Universal Plug and Play protocol (UPnP), meaning it will work with various speakers, smart TVs, PCs, and more.
It’s almost double the cost of the previous flagship by the company, the Victrola Stream Carbon model, which costs £899/$799.

Additionally, the company announced an entry level Victrola Automatic Bluetooth turntable.
