Upcoming Galaxy S9 Fitted with Intelligent Scan Feature

Once again its time to dive into the Samsung Galaxy S9 rumour mill with the soon to be released phone to have a brand new feature called Intelligent Scan.

This new feature is what the company describes as ‘an Iris Scanner and Face Recognition together for better results even in low or very bright light’.

AndroidPolice points out Intelligent Scan will probably combine the sometimes-limited information the iris scanner and your front camera can each extract to piece together a fuller picture of whoever is trying to unlock the phone.

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were the first devices to have facial recognition and an iris scanner but has been seen as difficult throughout numerous reports so this is an upgrade to what the company has already done.

Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S9 on February 25 during MWC in Barcelona.

Watch the video below to show how Intelligent Scan will work on the long awaited device.
