TCL has officially unveiled the A400 Pro, a new QD Mini LED Art TV line-up designed to merge high-end display technology with an art-focused aesthetic. The series targets users who want premium picture quality in a form factor that blends naturally into modern, minimalist interiors. Five sizes are available in China: 55, 65, 75, 85, and 98 inches.

As an Art TV, the A400 Pro treats the display as a decorative element. TCL uses a light walnut-textured frame shaped through a one-piece bending process, which removes visible seams for a clean gallery-like look. The matte canvas-style finish reduces reflections and gives the surface the appearance of painted artwork.

Despite the framing, the A400 Pro stays slim. Models up to 75 inches measure 3.99 cm in depth, the 85-inch model is 4.15 cm, and the 98-inch version reaches 4.45 cm.

The series features TCL’s QD Mini LED panel technology with independent local dimming zones and advanced brightness control. Quantum Dot Pro materials help the TV achieve 157 percent of the BT.709 colour gamut, along with a professional-grade Delta E accuracy of under 0.99.

For motion performance, the A400 Pro supports a native 4K 144Hz refresh rate and can reach 288Hz using TCL’s DLG mode. Gaming features include VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. TCL’s TSR AI image engine manages scene detection, backlight adjustments, and motion optimisation.

The TV runs Lingkong OS 3.0, which supports app installations, Android and iOS casting, multi-protocol file sharing, and user profiles. The interface switches instantly between TV and Art modes with no boot ads. The system is powered by the Fuxi large language model and includes more than 18 AI agents across categories such as education, entertainment, and fitness.

Art Mode provides access to over 100 classic artworks from museums around the world. Users can display pieces as static images or activate subtle animations that turn them into dynamic paintings. TCL also includes an AI generation tool that lets users create custom artworks by selecting styles and prompts.

TCL equips the A400 Pro with an Onkyo Hi-Fi speaker system in a side-firing configuration, designed to maintain clarity even when the TV is wall-mounted. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support are included.

Connectivity options feature four HDMI 2.1 ports, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi 6, and compatibility with NAS protocols such as FTP, SMB, and NFS. Most models offer 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
