Tab S6 Leaks Reveal Dual Rear Camera, Wireless Charging Stylus

Latest leaks have revealed new details of Samsung’s latest flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 – with dual rear cameras and a wireless charging stylus among the most noteworthy additions.

SamMobile has revealed a number of images which show off the tablet’s design, which is more similar to the recently released S5e, as opposed to the previous Tab S4.

The tablet will have a taller aspect ratio and an all-metal build.

Most noteworthy is that the Tab S6 will feature a dual camera setup on the back, as well as a groove for magnetically holding and charging the S-Pen, which will now come with Bluetooth support.

As for camera resolutions, the tablet will have a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide sensor at the back. There will also be an 8MP snapper on the front.

No details of the actual camera hardware have yet to be released.

The reports remain leaks, however, all will be revealed closer to launch.

Another leak found on 91Mobiles claims that the Tab S6 will also be one of the first tablets with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Unconfirmed details include the new Tab S6 being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, will run on Android 9 Pie, will come with a 10.5” display panel and at least 6GB RAM.

Two models are expected – with the base model having 128GB of storage, and a premium option available with 256GB. It will also apparently be able to support microSD cards up to 512GB.

SamMobile also claimed that the tablet will offer up to 15 hours of usage on a single charge and will support fast charging.

The exact release date is currently unknown, but it is expected to be launched in Q3 of 2019.
