Speculation Mounts Over Google Home Hub

Google’s massive global event, Made by Google, is scheduled for October 9, just a few short weeks from now, amidst an ever-increasing rumour mill.

One of the stronger rumours centres around Google Home Hub, a smart display under its own brand name, which appears to have passed through FCC regulatory barriers on Thursday.

The company is giving very little away about the Interactive Video Streaming Device, apart from its Bluetooth and WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz compatibility.

It is also rumoured to have a rectangular shape with rounded edges.

The Google Home Hub also appears to feature a 7-inch touch screen, far-field microphones, and an ambient light sensor, according to the numerous leaks that have so far come to light.

Another strong rumour doing the rounds is that it will be extremely price competitive, possibly as low as $US149 on release, which would explain why certain features such as a front-facing camera have been left out of the rumour mill.
