Singtel, Optus Contract With ANZ Extended To 2020

Singtel and Optus Business have secured an extension of a telecommunication and managed services agreement with ANZ to 2020, supporting expanded services and service delivery for ANZ in Australia and Asia.

Optus and ANZ first established the partnership in 2009, with a $530 million agreement to provide telecommunication and managed services for a further five years subsequently signed in 2013.

The financial details of the latest deal have not been revealed.

Optus states that the agreement’s scope of services “includes domestic and international data network services, mobility, collaboration, contact centre services and managed services to support ANZ’s operation”.

“Our strategic relationship with ANZ continues to go from strength-to-strength and we are delighted with this significant contract milestone,” John Paitaridis, Optus Business managing director, commented.

“We are highly committed to continuing our innovative approach to supporting ANZ’s critical ICT requirements and business operations in Australia and across Asia.”
