Schneider Electric And Environexus Cut Distribution Deal

Schneider Electric is expanding its connected home technologies, having signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Australian-based start-up Environexus.

Under the agreement, Schneider will supply all Environexus products to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The agreement coincides with the release of the new Environexus NERO series, “a platform that has been locally developed from the ground up, specifically for installers wanting to leverage the growing demand for IoT technologies”.

“As the connected home industry continues to expand, we have experienced an unprecedented level of growth,” Environexus CEO and co-founder Chris Hall commented.

“This agreement with Schneider Electric allows us to continue development of our platform whilst providing valuable resources for sales, support and logistics in our local markets.”

With the agreement commencing July 18, Schneider is set to showcase the new range at the Integrate expo in Sydney, running August 23–25.

“I am delighted to welcome Environexus as a key supplier within our new Smart Space portfolio,” Ben Green, Clipsal by Schneider Electric smart space director of partner business, commented.

“The new NERO series of products will allow our partners to integrate cost-effective wireless products into projects that require simple, scalable solutions for the connected home.”
