Promotional photographs for Sonos’ first retail location have been described as “HiFi haven for audiophiles” by the company.
The New York store is set to open on the 19th of July and will feature seven listening rooms.
Each room simulates a different scenario (kitchen, study or living room) and showcases what Sonos’ premium sound systems have to offer.
Customers will be able to listen to music via Sonos’ various streaming partners and encounter the ‘Wall of Sound’, an art installation which brings the power of 297 Sonos speakers to bear.
The lavish locale is set to launch with a series of promotional events such as happy hours, food tastings and live radio broadcasts.
The store will also offer a Simple Set Up delivery service that will handle set up, delivery and instructions for all Sonos devices sold.
