Samsung’s One UI 6 Update Expected Amid Samsung Week Starting
A beta program has been running for Samsung’s Android 14 based One UI 6, and reports are suggesting the stable version could be released by next week.
A Samsung Members community moderator said this is the last week for the One UI 6 beta program, and no more beta releases are expected.
One final inspection is being carried out of all One UI 6 betas, and a new beta firmware will be released only if there are issues to fix before rolling out the stable version.
It was also reported there isn’t a proper schedule for the release, however, the beta program is expected to end this week, with the stable rollout to start next week along with the October 2023 Android security patch.
In other words, Samsung Week has begun and is set to last for 10 days, offering huge discounts on smartphones, tablets, accessories, and other products.
First up is the phone deals, including two S23 models, and two Z foldables, along with the Galaxy A54.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 offers include enhanced trade-in, meaning users can send in more than one device for extra credit towards a purchase.
The Galaxy A54 gets an S-series level of software support but is cheaper than an S23. And for an even lower price, the 2022 Galaxy S Series is also available.
Tablet offers including flagships and older, affordable devices, The original Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 trio is available, discounted up to $800, with enhanced trade-in.
The Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are still too recent for discounts, but are available with a free Smart Book Cover.
There’s also the cheaper Galaxy Tab S6 Lite from 2022, equipped with stylus support and DeX. To save even more money, also available is the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 from 2021.
Some older accessories have dropped in price including the Galaxy Watch5 Pro Golf edition from last year, still with the largest battery on a Galaxy Watch, along with fast charging.
The Golf Edition has preloaded golf courses, and other perks. Also available is the Galaxy Watch4 for a lower price.
The Galaxy Buds2 are available too, with Active Noise Cancellation, IPX2 splash resistance and wireless charging for the case.
Moving onto the computer options available, including the entire Galaxy Book3 family, with enhanced trade-in up to $600.
For desktop PCs, the Samsung 990 Pro SSD is available in 1TB and 2TV capacities, and are 31% off. These are the version with a heat sink, but do fit inside a PS5.
External storage can be purchased with the Samsung T7 Touch portable SSD, in 1TB and 2TB capacities, and the Touch has a fingerprint reader on board for enhanced security.
Finally, there are several gaming monitors that work with PC and console available, including some that are pretty much Smart TVs.
