Samsung To Launch Galaxy S23 Range In Three Weeks

Samsung Colombia has accidentally revealed the date of the year’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2023 on its website.

According to two promotional splashes that briefly appeared on Samsung Colombia’s website, Unpacked will take place on February 1.

Judging by the camera-focused imagery, the adverts seem to confirm that the Galaxy S23 range will be the key announcement of the first Unpacked.

This camera focus is despite a recent leak out of China, which suggested the 200MP camera rumoured to feature on the Ultra might in fact be a ‘mere’ 108MP snapper.

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have an 6.8-inch screen with a 1440 x 3088 resolution, and 16.7 million colours.

The phone measures 163.4mm x 78.1mm x 8.9mm, and weights 233 grams, and sports 8GB to 12GB RAM, and storage tiers of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

A 108MP main camera is likely to feature the same ISOCELL HM3 sensor in the S22 Ultra, and will be coupled with a 12MP telephoto, a 12MP ultra-wide, a 2MP sensor, and a 12MP selfie camera.

We’ll find out whether these leaks are true on February 1.
