Samsung To Focus On Foldables

Samsung has confirmed the company has aims to sell many more foldable devices in 2020. The South Korean company plan to significantly increase sales of the Galaxy Fold, pictured, next year and hinted it also plans to release a large number of foldable smartphones next year.

Samsung did not reveal an exact figure but analysts suggest the company has plans to sell upwards of six million foldable smartphones globally by the end of 2020. Samsung’s original target for 2020 was to ship 10 million foldable phones, but the figure was dropped to a more realistic six million units.
