Rumours have been circulating that Samsung are preparing a new smart ring, possibly called the Galaxy Ring, and now there are talks that they have finished development and will are expected to begin production next month, after reportedly securing the sourcing of needed hardware.
Even though production is close, a release won’t happen until at least 2024, as the ring will have to go through multiple certification processes to gain a “medical device” status.
Certifications could last several months, so it’s expected to hit the market next year, with some speculating just in time for the announcement of the Galaxy S24.
