Samsung Introduces Travel Planning Feature In Wallet App
Samsung has revealed a new addition to Samsung Wallet, unveiling a tool known as Trips that is designed to bring travel arrangements into one place for easier access and management.
The feature is intended to simplify the process of organising journeys by gathering bookings and confirmations within a single interface, reducing the need to switch between different apps or search through emails. The company says the goal is to create a more streamlined experience for users preparing for or undertaking trips.
At the centre of the update is a timeline view that presents travel plans in chronological order. This layout allows users to see flights, accommodation, and other reservations arranged clearly, helping to structure itineraries and improve visibility across an entire trip.

When compatible bookings are added to Samsung Wallet, the system automatically groups them based on timing and location. This enables related items to be displayed together, offering a more cohesive overview of travel plans.
The feature supports a wide range of bookings, including flights, hotels, car hire, tours, and tickets for public transport, attractions, and sporting events. Users can also enter details manually if needed and attach notes to saved items, allowing for greater flexibility when planning.
Samsung confirmed that Trips will begin rolling out within Samsung Wallet in South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom later this month.
