Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 & Z Flip5 Gets One UI 6 Beta

Starting today, Samsung has released the One UI 6 beta program, based on Android 14, for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 devices.

To enroll in the beta, users are required to go into the Samsung Members app where they will see a banner advertising the beta. If this banner can’t be found, they should uninstall and reinstall the app, which will make the banner appear, according to sources.

Once the user clicks on the banner, they will be required to agree to some terms    and conditions, and then the first beta will appear as an over-the-air update.

It is a 2.7GB download for the Fold5, and will most likely be the same for a Flip5, however this has yet to be confirmed.

While applying the update, the Fold5 will be on build F946BXXU1ZWJ2, whereas the Flip5 will be on build F731U1UEU1ZWJ2.

The Fold5 is only eligible to participate in the beta in the US and India currently, and the Flip5 could also have these limitations, however, it’s unclear.

Keep a look out for the availability in Australia, if interested.
