Samsung Electronics has introduced a smaller version of its Spatial Signage display, unveiling a 32-inch model designed for use in retail environments where space is limited.

The new screen builds on the company’s existing range of larger 3D displays, which includes an 85-inch option, but shifts the focus to closer viewing distances. It is aimed at placements such as shop shelves and counters, where customers interact with products at short range.

The display does not require special glasses to produce a three-dimensional effect. Instead, it relies on Samsung’s in-house 3D Plate technology, which uses binocular parallax to create a sense of depth. This allows images to appear more lifelike, with products visible from multiple angles as if they were physically present.

Samsung says the screen is capable of delivering a full 360-degree viewing experience, giving retailers a way to showcase items in a more engaging and interactive format without additional hardware for customers.
