Roblox Blackout Lasts 11 Hours, Infuriates Users

Online game platform and game creation system Roblox experienced an outage lasting 11 hours across its website, mobile app, Xbox app, and games yesterday. Downdetector was quickly flooded with reports as of late May 3rd.

Roblox quickly confirmed on Twitter that their service was having issues. As of now, DownDetector reports are slowing and it seems that the service is returning to normal.

Roblox is the largest user-generated games platform with as many as 210 million monthly users, most of whom are children. The free-to-play service allows users to create their own worlds through the use of building components, and somewhat resembles lego.

Roblox are yet to confirm what the issue exactly was.
