Philips are set to launch a ‘whole new line’ up of CitiScape headphones in mid-2014, including iPhone 5s-ready earbuds, and Kids headphones.

New CitiScape iPhone 5C & 5S colour coded earbuds are part of the 2014 line up, CN has been told by Philips distributor Powermove.

The latest Apple 5S comes in black, silver and gold, while 5C is offered in a matrix of shades including red, yellow and blue, suggesting some funky coloured earbuds are in the offing.

The iPhone 5s/c Philips earbuds will come in two types – with and without microphone/remotes.

New Philips Kids headphones will also land down under mid-year.

The European brand already has a range of hip CitiScapes headphones – including Uptown, Foldie and Frames and earbuds, including the multicoloured Indies.

Dick Smith is one of the main retailers of Philips headphones, which start at $50.

No word on pricing on the new CitiScapes, yet.
