CES 2026: RayNeo Unveils The World’s First HDR10-enabled AR Glasses
RayNeo has announced that it will debut its latest augmented reality eyewear, the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The company describes the device as the world’s first AR glasses to support HDR10, combining advanced display technology with premium audio to create an immersive viewing experience in a compact, wearable format. The launch highlights RayNeo’s continued focus on redefining how users consume entertainment while on the move.
The RayNeo Air 4 Pro is positioned as a new category of head-mounted display, designed to function like a personal television rather than a conventional pair of smart glasses. By pairing high-end visual performance with carefully engineered sound, RayNeo aims to deliver a private cinema-style experience that can be used almost anywhere.
At the heart of the Air 4 Pro is a custom Vision 4000 processor, developed to enhance image quality in real time. Audio performance has been tuned in collaboration with Bang and Olufsen, ensuring that visuals and sound work together seamlessly. The glasses can connect to smartphones, computers and gaming consoles such as the Switch 2, making them suitable for watching films, streaming content or playing games on a large virtual screen.
One of the standout features of the Air 4 Pro is its HDR10-enabled AR display. Support for HDR10 allows the glasses to deliver brighter highlights, deeper contrast and more accurate colour reproduction, with visuals that remain vivid even when displaying 3D content.
The Vision 4000 chip is designed to optimise every frame, converting standard SDR video into HDR and enabling smooth 2D-to-3D video processing. This allows users to enjoy older content with improved clarity while also benefiting from more immersive formats.
Sound is delivered through four integrated speakers and a proprietary waveguide system that directs audio towards the ears while minimising sound leakage. Developed alongside engineers at the B and O Sound Lab, the audio system aims to provide a cinematic feel without disturbing people nearby.
Despite its capabilities, the Air 4 Pro remains lightweight and portable. Weighing just 76 g, it features a balanced frame and adjustable nose pads for comfort during extended use. RayNeo claims the glasses can simulate a virtual screen measuring up to 201 inches when viewed from a distance of six metres, effectively turning any location into a personal theatre.
Compatibility with USB-C devices that support display output means the Air 4 Pro can be used with a wide range of hardware. From long-haul flights to outdoor downtime, users can access apps, games and media on a large private display wherever they are.
Alongside the Air 4 Pro, RayNeo will also showcase its flagship RayNeo X3 Pro at CES, including a special prototype version with eSIM capability. Officially released in December 2025, the X3 Pro blends artificial intelligence with advanced AR optics to support both work and entertainment.
Powered by Gemini AI, the X3 Pro features a 43-inch floating display, real-time multilingual translation and contextual assistance that responds to both voice and visual input. Running on an open Android platform, it allows users to access apps such as YouTube and TikTok directly through the glasses. Its combination of AI and AR technology has already earned recognition, including selection for TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025.
The X3 Pro Project eSIM prototype explores the future of spatial computing by testing independent connectivity and on-device intelligence. RayNeo says this concept reflects its long-term vision for next-generation computing devices that are more autonomous and better aligned with user needs.
RayNeo’s AR lineup will be on display at CES 2026 from 6 to 9 January in the Central Hall at Booth 18604, where attendees can experience the HDR10-enabled Air 4 Pro and the AI-powered X3 series first-hand.
