Polaroid has added a new option to its portable printer range, introducing a 3×3 model that blends printing with display. The device connects to a companion app on iOS and Android, allowing users to edit images, apply templates or add stickers before printing onto square-format paper.

The portable printer segment has been gaining traction as interest in physical photography continues to grow. Many users are looking for ways to turn digital images into tangible prints rather than leaving them stored on phones or shared online.

What sets this model apart is a built-in frame that lifts up, allowing printed photos to be clipped directly onto the device. This shifts its role from a simple printer to an object that can sit on a desk or shelf as a changing display.
