Audio specialists Plantronics have debuted new hybrid neckband wireless headphones designed for both calls and music.
Branded as the BackBeat 105, the headphones tout an ultra-light design for easy all-day wear, full-range sound a hands-free microphone.
“Weighing less than 30 grams, BackBeat 105 is made for all-day versatility,” the company says.
It’s the latest entry in the company’s BackBeat family of headphones, which also includes the sweatproof BackBeat Fit, BackBeat Go 3 and high-end BackBeat Pro.
According to Plantronic’s Peter Petrides, “BackBeat 105 S is designed for high-quality audio and quick access to phone calls when you need it, with a discreet wearing style that fades into the background when you don’t.”
It features a flexible neckband design that conforms to the size and shape of the wearer’s neck, with magnetic earbuds that promise to make tangled wires a thing of the past.
The BackBeat 105 has a battery life of eight hours, an elegant three-button interface and support for vibration alerts to notify users.
BackBeat 105 will be available through authorized Plantronics retailers in October 2016 for an RRP of $99.99.
