Pandora To Power Woolworths Radio, Going Live Today

Pandora and Woolworths have partnered to launch Woolworths Radio – Powered by Pandora custom curated music stations, which is going live in Woolworths supermarkets around the country today.

The partnership sees the delivery of an in-store music experience to more than 970 supermarkets, with the music – specifically curated and varied to reflect different shopping times, locations and experiences – to be updated on a regular basis.

Customers will also be able to access the Woolworths Radio station via the Pandora app.

Pandora business partner Mood Media installed software and media players across the Woolworths supermarkets.

“Woolworths is very focused on delivering a great in-store experience for our customers, and we are delighted to have partnered with Pandora and Mood Media to provide our customers with songs and music they enjoy and can relate to,” Woolworths general manager for marketing operations Rod Evenden commented.

Pandora ANZ director of business development Rick Gleave described Woolworths as providing “a unique and new environment for music from Pandora”.

“This partnership extends Pandora’s ability to bring a unique selection of music experiences to every listener in Australia, whether through their own earbuds on the go, in their car, or when they are shopping for the family at Woolworths,” Gleave commented.
