Optus Confirm Pre-Order Details For The Galaxy S8

Only hours after its official reveal, Optus have spoken up about the options available for customers looking to upgrade to the new Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The telco will begin online pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones from as early as 12:01AM on Friday the 31st of March.

Optus says that customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S8 on the $85 My Plan Plus will pay just $9 monthly handset repayments over the 24 month plan (minimum total cost $2256 over 24 months) while customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S8+ on the $100 My Plan Plus will pay $13 monthly repayments over the 24 month plan (totaling 2712 over 24 months).

In addition, they say that for a limited time, all new and recontracting customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ will be eligible for Optus Mobile TV streaming for the life of the plan at no additional cost.

A Samsung GearVR will also be bundled in with the handset, though it’ll ship to customers a few weeks after the phone’s launch date of April 28th.
