Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Leaks Reveal Battery, Charging and IP65 Rating
Nothing is preparing to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup, with the Phone (4a) Pro now appearing in European certification databases, revealing key specifications ahead of an expected launch in the first quarter of 2026.
The EU’s EPREL database lists the device under model number A069P, confirming a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast charging, which is identical to its predecessor, the Phone (3a) Pro.
Despite the lack of major battery upgrades, the device has earned an ‘A’ energy efficiency rating, with an estimated endurance of 63 hours per charge cycle and the ability to withstand up to 1,400 charging cycles before dropping below 80% of its original capacity.

The certification also confirms an IP65 rating, offering dust protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets. However, repairability remains low, with a ‘C’ rating and the device is only moderately resistant to free-fall impacts.
Beyond Europe, the Phone (4a) Pro has surfaced in India’s BIS certification database, indicating a global rollout is imminent. Rumours suggest the phone will feature a Snapdragon 7-series processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and eSIM support, along with four colour options: black, white, pink and blue.
While Nothing has not confirmed a release date, reports indicate a launch window in February or March, with pricing expected to be higher than the previous generation due to rising component costs.
