Next Generation Of Lenovo Laptops Might Go Foldable

Lenovo has given the public a glimpse of what a future “bendable” ThinkPad might look like during a presentation in New York this week.

During the event, the company showed off a concept for a new portable personal computer that utilized advanced materials and new screen technologies to deliver a lightweight form-factor without compromising performance.

The company also emphasized the importance of voice activated controls and artificial intelligence in achieving a computer that’s “always connected, always on”.

When it comes to a timeline on the realization of this concept, Lenovo were a little more vague.

“Maybe someday”, the company later teased on their Twitter account.

While it’s not the first time Lenovo have highlighted the possibilities of foldable displays, it’s the first time they’ve talked seriously about applying the technology to the PC and laptop market.

The company showed off a 4.2-inch smartphone called the CPlus that could be wrapped up and worn around a user’s wrist at CES in 2016.
