With Samsung’s next big Unpacked launch event believed to be happening in the last week of July, rather than in August as is usual, it’s expected this will be the presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, as well as the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
It’s being said the earlier date than normal is because Samsung are feeling competition in the foldable space from the likes of the Pixel Folds.
The Z Fold 5 and Z Flip5 are also said to feature 25W charging with Samsung’s EP-TA800 model charger, and are expected to launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset.
Both are believed to feature a new droplet hinge design. The Z Flip5 will also reportedly sport a larger 3.3″- 3.4″ cover screen.
