New MSI Titan Gaming Laptop Boasts Unrivalled Specs

MSI have revealed more details on their next level flagship gaming laptop, the Titan GT77. The successor to the company’s previous GT76 flagship was initially announced at Computex 2022, however until now, details were sparse.

The MSI Titan GT77 is likely to be the most powerful gaming laptop on the market for 2022, making use of up to a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, a Core i9-12900HX and four memory slots capable of supporting up to 128GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. In graphics and processing power alone, the new device will reach power delivery levels of 250W thanks to MSI’s OverBoost technology.

More so than most laptops, this isn’t a gaming machine you can use on the go, but rather one that’s easy to carry around and then plug in. It weighs a whopping 3.1 kg too, so you’re best off keeping it plugged into the 330W adapter.

The MSI Titan GT77 boasts a gorgeous 17.3 UHD (3,840×2,160) display with 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 Gamut coverage and an IPS-level panel.

Other features include an RGB mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Ultra Low switches, four M.2 SSD storage slots and plenty of RGB lighting and gaming nicks and nacks.

Alongside the MSI Titan GT77 is the much cheaper yet still powerful Raider range, made up of the Raider GE77 and the GE67. They boast up to 12900HX CPUs and RTX 3080 Ti GPUs, 240Hz QHD displays and a 0.2ms response time.

The MSI Titan GT77 starts at $6,099 AUD for the 3070 Ti model, while the Raider GE77HX starts at $2,599 USD, and the GE67HX starts at $2,499 USD. Prices will be updated as we find out more about higher end models and Australian pricing for the Raider series.
