MyRepublic Launch $80 100Mbps NBN Plan

Telco MyRepublic has launched a premium NBN plan offering unlimited data and internet speeds of up to 100Mbps for just $79.95, for a limited time only.

MyRepublic will take $10 per month for 12 months off the Premium Plan, so new customers will be charged $79.95 per month for up to 100Mbps, plus unlimited data and home phone calls. The price will jump to $89.95 per month thereafter.

The offer is available to new customers only and doesn’t take into account installation fees.

Customers can choose between the No Lock-In contract and pay $129 upfront for a Wi-Fi Hub+ including delivery (min cost $208.95) or commit to a 12-month term and pay $11 upfront (min cost $970.40).

According to MyRepublic Managing Director, Nicholas Demos, the new limited time offer is in response to the boatload of cheaper 50MBps NBN plans in 2018, driven by NBN Co’s very affordable pricing terms for those plans in order to increase Australian data access speeds.

“Some industry leaders have said our country does not want fast internet, which is blatantly not true,” Demos said.

“We are happy that the NBN has finally recognised that Australians want super-fast internet and we are delighted to provide the premium plans at a reasonable price to facilitate just that.”

Competition is heating up in the NBN space as we reach the end of the NBN build process.

Consumers can learn more about this plan at MyRepublic’s website.
