MOVA Launches Award-Winning Premium Robot Vacuum in Australia With Z70 Ultra Roller
MOVA has expanded its premium home appliance portfolio with the launch of its new flagship robot vacuum, the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller, which features Australian-first fresh-water roller mopping technology, 36,000Pa suction and AI-powered navigation.
The launch marks another step in MOVA’s expansion into Australia’s growing home robotics category following the recent release of its first robotic pool cleaner, with the company signalling additional product categories are on the way.
Positioned at the premium end of the robot vacuum market, the Z70 Ultra Roller has already been recognised internationally with a 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design, combining a minimalist design available in Brushed Metallic and Natural Stone Black with several technologies designed to improve real-world cleaning performance.
Unlike conventional robot mops that continue cleaning with increasingly dirty mop pads, the Z70 Ultra Roller features MOVA’s HydroForce 2.0 system, which continuously sprays fresh water onto the roller while simultaneously scraping away dirty water and debris. The company says the four-stage spray, mop, scrape and recover process helps eliminate cross-contamination between rooms while maintaining cleaning performance throughout the cleaning cycle.

The roller also applies 18N of downward pressure and rotates at up to 800rpm, enabling it to tackle dried spills and stubborn marks while maintaining constant floor contact.
Vacuum performance has also received a significant upgrade with 36,000Pa suction, positioning the Z70 Ultra Roller among the most powerful robot vacuums currently available in Australia.
To complement the suction performance, MOVA has equipped the robot with its TroboWave DuoBrush anti-tangle brush system, while AutoShield technology automatically lifts and seals the wet roller when carpet is detected, preventing moisture transfer as the robot transitions between hard flooring and carpet.
Navigation is handled through a combination of RGB AI vision, dual structured-light sensors and LiDAR mapping, allowing the robot to recognise obstacles and navigate around furniture with greater precision. The retractable LiDAR module also enables the robot to clean beneath beds and lounges with as little as 10cm clearance.
The company has also focused on improving whole-home coverage through MaxiReach 2.0 edge cleaning and StepMaster 2.0, allowing the robot to climb obstacles up to 9cm high including sliding door tracks and floor transitions.
Dock automation continues to be a major battleground in premium robotic cleaning, and MOVA has equipped the Z70 Ultra Roller with a multifunction dock that automatically washes the roller mop in water heated to 100°C before drying it with 70°C warm air.
The dock also incorporates a 4-litre dust bag capable of delivering up to 125 days of hands-free dust collection along with UV sterilisation to help maintain hygiene.
According to MOVA ANZ Country Manager Nancy Zhang, Australian consumers are increasingly demanding smarter appliances that require less manual intervention.
“Australian households are looking for smarter cleaning solutions that do more than automate a task. They need to perform consistently, move naturally through the home and reduce the time spent managing everyday cleaning,” said Zhang.
MOVA is backing the premium appliance with a three-year warranty and includes a one-year accessories pack designed to reduce ongoing ownership costs.
The MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller is priced at $2,999.
The Brushed Metallic model is available through JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and The Good Guys, while the Natural Stone Black will be sold exclusively via the MOVA Australia website.
