Motorola Leans On Materials And Texture For Razr 70 Ultra Refresh
Motorola’s next foldable, expected to follow last year’s Razr 60 Ultra, is shaping up as a more subtle update, with early leaks pointing to minimal design changes. Instead, the company appears to be focusing on finishes and materials to give the new model a distinct identity.
Recent renders suggest two standout options, including an Orient Blue version with a stitched, leather-like texture and a Pantone Cocoa variant that resembles wood grain. Rather than relying on colour alone, Motorola seems to be adding tactile surfaces that change how the device feels in hand.

This approach builds on earlier Razr models that introduced vegan leather backs and Pantone colour partnerships. The difference this time is a stronger emphasis on texture as a defining feature.
In terms of hardware, the device is expected to include a high-end Snapdragon chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. A dual-camera setup is also likely to return.
An official announcement is expected soon, with timing likely to mirror last year’s April launch window.
