Motorola Eyes Dual-Camera For New Handset

Off the back of their modular Moto Z, Motorola look to be making a fresh play in the smartphone space with a new handset featuring a dual lens camera.

Reports out of Phandroid revealed the existence of the handset in a series of leaked images and specs.

The handset will feature a Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GBs of RAM, placing it pretty close to the specs of last year’s G5.

However, the key feature here looks to be the dual-camera, similar in design to that found in the iPhone 7 or Huawei Mate 9.

Some have speculated that this handset could be Motorola’s flagship model for the year but given the somewhat-conservative processing power on display here, it seems more like a new model aimed at capturing the customers who care the most about mobile photography.

Expect an official reveal from Motorola later down the line.
