Microsoft’s 15″ Surface Book 2 Lands In Australia From $3,649
The new 15-inch Microsoft Surface Book 2 has officially landed in Australia, starting from $3,649.
The 13-inch model has been available to pre-order in Australia since November last year
Microsoft’s new 15″ notebook – with a detachable screen – is therefore priced in the upper end of the consumer notebook market, and is more expensive than its Macbook counterpart.
Australian pre-orders are available from today, with shipping scheduled from February 15th.
Microsoft claims its new Surface Book 2’s battery can sustain up to 17 hours of video playback.
The news follows Microsoft’s admission in November, stating battery issues were plaguing the original Surface Book 2 during heavy graphics processing (e.g. gaming), even when charging.
Starting specifications:
Surface Book 2 – 13.5″/256 GB/Intel Core i5
Surface Book 2 – 15″/256 GB/Intel Core i7
