Michi Launches More Accessible Prestige Series With New X430 Amp And Q430 CD Player
Melbourne-based distributor International Dynamics has announced the launch of Michi’s new Prestige Series, introducing two high-end audio components aimed at a broader audience: the X430 Integrated Amplifier and Q430 CD Player.
Positioned as a more accessible entry point into the premium Michi ecosystem, the Prestige Series builds on the engineering and design principles of the brand’s flagship Reference Series, which has earned a strong reputation for performance and build quality.
The new lineup targets discerning listeners looking for high-performance audio without stepping into the upper-premium price tier. Michi says the Prestige Series maintains its core DNA, including robust power design, low-noise circuitry and refined industrial aesthetics.

Leading the release is the X430 Integrated Amplifier, a Class AB unit delivering 340W per channel into 4 ohms (210W into 8 ohms). It features an in-house toroidal transformer, ESS SABRE DAC, and support for a wide range of inputs including USB (PCM, DSD, DoP), optical, coaxial, and Bluetooth with aptX HD. HDMI ARC with CEC is also included for simplified TV integration.
Additional features include dual subwoofer outputs, a moving magnet phono stage, headphone output, and a customisable full-colour display with VU meter visualisations.

Alongside it, the Q430 CD Player focuses on extracting maximum performance from physical media. It uses a floating tray-loading mechanism to reduce vibration and a fully differential ESS SABRE DAC configuration for improved clarity and imaging. Connectivity includes RCA, balanced XLR, and coaxial digital outputs.
Both units feature precision-machined aluminium chassis and Michi’s signature minimalist design language.
The X430 is priced at A$6,499, while the Q430 comes in at A$5,499.
The launch signals Michi’s push to broaden its market reach while maintaining its reputation for high-end audio engineering.
