Meta and Xbox have launched a limited edition Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition VR headset – the first limited edition for the Quest series.

The release coincides with the expansion of Xbox Cloud Gaming (currently in beta) on Meta Quest headsets, enabling players to stream Xbox games in VR.

The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition bundle is priced at US399.99 (A$600) and includes a custom 128GB headset in Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green, matching Touch Plus controllers, and a limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller featuring the same colour scheme.

The bundle also comes with the Meta Quest Elite Strap, three months of Meta Horizon+ VR content, and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which provides access to hundreds of Xbox games through the Xbox app on Quest.

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can stream select owned titles and benefit from cross-play and cross-progression between devices, whether on VR, Xbox console, or PC.

The Xbox Wireless Controller included is pre-paired with the headset, though users can also connect other Xbox controllers via Bluetooth.

Currently, the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is available through Meta’s online store and select retailers in the US and UK. It is not yet clear if or when the headset will officially launch in Australia or through local retailers. Stock is limited.
