Logitech is reportedly set to launch its flagship mouse, the MX Master 4, on September 30.

Leaks from WinFuture, as reported by The Verge, suggest designers have kept the familiar MX Master silhouette, but added a subtly textured surface and transparent main buttons.

But the big reveal is the haptic feedback motor. It will ensure you’ll feel a gentle vibration when switching between computers or adjusting the cursor.

Reportedly, users will even be able to customise the vibration level through the Logitech Options+ app.

Logitech’s soon-to-be released mouse may not be the best option for gamers, but others are likely to be impressed

Logitech has also added an ‘Action Ring’, a context-sensitive shortcut interface, while maintaining the quiet clicks introduced in the 3S model.

Battery life and DPI reportedly remain unchanged.

An Amazon Italy listing supports the haptic claims and highlights stain-resistant materials, the removal of the USB-C cable, and a sleeker MagSpeed scroll wheel.

Regulators and EU filings show a side-button redesign, suggesting Logitech is playing it safe with incremental hardware updates but leaning harder into tactile improvements.

While it doesn’t promise dramatic performance leaps, its haptic feedback and design tweaks could appeal to long-time MX users.

Gamers or those seeking high-end speed upgrades, however, may find it worth waiting for a more performance-driven release.
