Logitech is bringing one of the best-known USB microphones into a new generation, with the launch of the Yeti 2. The new model adds AI-powered noise reduction, automatic voice tracking and a built-in display aimed at making it easier for creators to record in high-quality.

The new Logitech G Blue Yeti 2 is the successor to the original Blue Yeti, which launched in 2009 and has become a familiar microphone among podcasters, streamers, gamers and other content creators.

The Yeti 2 uses a 3D proximity sensor to track the position of the speaker’s voice, which means users don’t have to manually adjust their setting as they move or change their setup.

Logitech says the system can automatically adjust gain, equalisation and pickup patterns in real time, with automatic gain and tracking enabled from when the microphone is first used.

The microphone also features an onboard AI-powered denoiser which is designed to reduce unwanted background sounds, like keyboard clicks and computer fans.

The Yeti 2 connects via USB-C and uses a redesigned three-capsule microphone array. It supports 24-bit/48kHz recording and multiple directional pickup modes. A headphone output allows users to monitor their audio.

Another addition is the inclusion of a 1.3-inch LED display on the front of the microphone. The screen provides information about settings such as gain and directional patterns, while a physical control dial means users can make adjustments without relying on computer software.

The display also introduces a small Yeti mascot, and users can also customise the screen with an 8-bit avatar through its Logitech’s G Hub software.

The microphone includes five stored presets and a capacitive mute button, while Logitech’s Blue VO!CE processing provides additional audio controls for users who want more detailed customisation.

The Yeti 2 retails at $249.95, which puts it above Logitech’s original Yeti, currently listed at $199.95, but below the Yeti X at $299.95.The Yeti 2 is part of a broader push by Logitech G to update its creator-focused hardware with software and AI-assisted features. The company unveiled the microphone alongside a wider range of new products at its Logitech G PLAY 2026 event.
