Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse Goes Wireless

Logitech G has finally unveiled a wireless version of its best-selling gaming mouse, the G502 LIGHTSPEED, available from May 20, 2019, for $249.95.

The new mouse retains the same look and feel of the popular Logitech G502 HERO mouse, but now with LIGHTSPEED wireless tech and POWERPLAY wireless charging.

It still includes 11 programmable buttons, dual-mode hyper-fast scroll wheel, and Logitech’s next-gen High-Efficiency Rated Optical (HERO) 16K sensor.

Logitech maintains that it is the best and most efficient gaming sensor they have ever made, capable of exceeding 400 IPS and delivering 16,000 DPI tracking with pixel-precise accuracy.

The 11 buttons can be programmed and customised via Logitech G HUB Software, for select commands and macros.

However, Logitech has reduced the weight by 7g thanks to a new thinner wall design.

The mouse also retains an adjustable weight system but has changed the additional weights, it ships with 4 x 2g and 2 x 4g weights to adjust the weighting and balance of the mouse for optimum gameplay.

Additionally, the right-handed gaming mouse includes textured rubber side grips for more control in gameplay.

“Ultimately, no mouse better symbolises the global love affair we have with gamers and gamers have with their gear than our G502,” said Ujesh Desai, VP and GM of Logitech Gaming.

“Since we launched our first LIGHTSPEED gaming mouse, fans have been asking us when we’d launch a new version of the G502. With today’s introduction we’ve delivered what they’ve asked for and more.”

The Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse is slated to be available for $249.95 from 20 May 2019 on LogitechG.com and all major retailers.
