LG Pair New OLED TV Range With Brand New Sound Bars

As LG roll out their 2022 OLED TV line up, they are also tipped to deliver on a new 2022 soundbar range. While we were at CES, we got a peek at what’s to come.

The new range has premium quality and performance at the top of its priorities, with the flagship LG S95QR delivering 810W and a surround sound experience thanks to 9.1.5 channels. The result of this is comprehensive and realistic auditory immersion.

There are also five up-firing channels, including the first ever centre up-firing speaker, which improves dialogue clarity and enhances Dolby Atmos and DST:X.

Other improvements include performance boosts in the drivers, chambers and subwoofers, improving bass tones and clarity, additional channels for their wireless range, AI room calibration, the ability for 3D audio and 135-degree spacing via the rear speakers and a more sensitive receiver to allow for greater distance between speakers without sacrificing quality.

Users will also enjoy the ability to communicate with AI assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa to control their experience, and gamers should find use in the variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency modes.

Pricing and release dates are yet to be announced.
