LG G6 & Q6 Debut Stylish New Colours, Same Software

LG has added several “sophisticated” new colours to its smartphone lineup, this time to the G6 and Q6, specifically for those who “appreciate the finer things in life”.

To some consumers disappointment, the new colours are not met with the release of a major new software update. Some commentators assert the handsets are in need of new hardware to keep up with rivals such as HTC.

The G6 will now be available in Raspberry Rose, which LG states was designed “with anniversaries, graduation ceremonies in mind”.

Both the LG Q6 & G6 will debut a new ‘Moroccan Blue’ and ‘Lavender Violet’, adding to LG’s existing colour portfolio of Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Terra Gold, and Mystic White.

The Q6 & G6’s new colours will first land in South Korea, to be followed with “key markets worldwide”.

LG’s Q6 currently sells for A$299, and G6 for A$699.
