Saudi Arabia is better suited to esports than the traditional variety
The Finals will feature three world titles – Rocket League, eFootball on console, and eFootball on mobile.
National teams from around the globe will compete for championships in what’s been described as the pinnacle of football esports.
The announcement follows a record-breaking 2024 season, which became the most viewed sports simulation event of the year by peak audience.
FIFAe is also widening its qualification process in 2025, giving more FIFA Member Associations the chance to compete at the highest level.
The Lenovo deal is part of a wider collaboration with FIFA.
The PC maker is also supplying advanced devices, AI solutions and data-centre services to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, FIFA World Cup 2026 and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027.
The Chinese company says the Lenovo-FIFA partnership will enhance broadcasting, operations and fan engagement worldwide.
