Leaks Suggest Samsung Galaxy M30’s Impending Update
Samsung has recently been enjoying a lot of attention from leaks and upcoming releases – now the Samsung Galazy M30s are at the centre of attention.
The impressive yet affordable device is expected to get even more enticing after OneUI 2.0 and Android 10 arrived.
Reputable tech reporters are now speculating that the M30’s may be updated with the new systems sooner rather than later – that’s according to a new certification at least.
As per Samsung’s last announcement, India and China were set to have their M30’s updated in May this year. But the Korean-based global tech giant is clearly running ahead of schedule on its updating.
For example, devices M20 and M30 were scheduled for a January 2020 update but instead they received an over-the-air update in India last December.
If this was the first clue that America and Australia may be set for an earlier update for the M30’s as well, it’s further supported by a new document from the Wi-Fi Alliance, which confirmed the handset with Android 10.
The document pertains to the SM-M307F and DS versions and mentions a firmware version of M370F. 001.
However, the main take away is that a Wi-Fi certification often reveals an imminent release of an over-the-air update.
The Galaxy M30 sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 10nm Exynos 9611 SoC, with either a 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It also has a 6,000 mAh battery and a triple camera setup, 48MP, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP depth.
