Kogan Leads $3.5M Property Start-Up Raise

Kogan.com Founder and Chief Executive, Ruslan Kogan, has reportedly led a $3.5 million series A funding round for property start-up, Landchecker, taking on the likes of Domain and realestate.com.au.

Reported by the Australian Financial ReviewLandchecker is also backed by RACV, coinciding with the start-up’s expansion from VIC to NSW.

National roll-out is tipped for mid-2020.

Landchecker seeks to provide a plethora of property information for the savvy consumer – e.g. sales history, planning permits, zone information and more – in one listing.

The website reportedly displays over 8 million properties, and is positioned as complementary to traditional real estate listing websites.

The latest funding round will be used to propel local expansion, R&D and improve its sales and marketing infrastructure.
