Kmart Smart Christmas Lights With Google, Alexa

The Mirabella Genio Wi-FI LED lighting range is available now from Kmart, with products ranging from $30 each for the 200 LED Cool White Icicle Lights, $35 for the 190 LED Cool White Tree Lights with Star, $39 for the 150 LED Colour Select Fairy Lights, and a Wi-Fi LED Laser Light for $49.

Mirabella Genio is the affordable range of smart home products that include smart lights, smart power outlets and home appliances.

Controlled through the Genio app, with compatibility through Amazon Alexa and Google Home, the Mirabella range of smart home products represents the shift towards affordable in-home connectivity.

Following ALDI’s recent launch of Bauhn smart home products, including smart lights and power boards, available this weekend through their Special Buys sale, Kmart is obviously looking to entice its customers with a bit of Christmas magic.

While smart Christmas lights may not be the most exciting thing to come out of the smart home revolution, it does indicate the direction the industry is heading, whereby everything and anything can be made smarter with internet connectivity.

It would not surprise me, if come the holidays in 2020, we will have connected Christmas stockings to notify us when Santa visits.
