Klipsch Expands Premium Speaker Range With Reference Premiere III
Klipsch has introduced the latest generation of its premium Reference Premiere speaker family, unveiling the new Reference Premiere III Series with a focus on improved acoustics, home theatre performance and updated industrial design.
The new lineup was revealed at Audio Advice Live 2026 in North Carolina and comprises nine speaker models designed to suit both stereo music systems and multi-channel home cinema installations.
The range includes three floorstanding speakers, two bookshelf models, two centre speakers and two surround speakers, giving users the flexibility to build systems ranging from compact two-channel setups through to full Dolby Atmos home theatres.
Among the standout models is the RP-8263FA floorstanding speaker, which incorporates built-in upward-firing Dolby Atmos drivers for three-dimensional surround sound without requiring separate height speakers. Alternatively, the RP-5103SA can be used as an add-on Atmos speaker, either mounted on compatible speakers or installed on a wall.
Klipsch has redesigned the high-frequency section with a new high-density Tractrix horn tweeter that uses upgraded BMC materials to minimise unwanted resonance. The tweeter is mounted flush with the cabinet to improve sound dispersion and create a wider listening area throughout the room.

Low-frequency performance continues to be handled by Klipsch’s signature copper Cerametallic woofers, which have been engineered to deliver controlled bass while maintaining clarity across a wide range of listening volumes.
The cabinets have also received structural updates, including new metal outrigger feet that help isolate the speakers from the floor to reduce vibration and improve overall sound accuracy.
The expanded range reflects the growing demand for premium home entertainment systems capable of delivering cinema-quality audio while also serving as high-performance stereo speakers for music enthusiasts.
Klipsch says the Reference Premiere III Series will be available from October through its website and authorised retailers. Australian pricing and local availability have not yet been confirmed.
