KitchenAid Launches Cake Off Competition
KitchenAid will host its debut KitchenAid Cake Off Competition with Camberwell Electrics this December at the KitchenAid Experience Store in Camberwell Electrics as part of their 100-year anniversary celebrations. Winners to be determined by internationally renowned chef Gabriel Gaté and MasterChef alum Jess Liemantara.
In order to be considered, Melbourne bakers will need to bake and decorate a unique “cake creation” that incorporates seasonal summer fruits and can serve eight people.
Finalists will be invited to the KitchenAid Experience Store at Camberwell Electrics, where entrants will be judged on their presentation, taste and texture, and sills and creativity demonstrated on the day.
KitchenAid has enlisted internationally renowned chef, Gabriel Gaté, as well as 2018 MasterChef Australia alum, Jess Liemantara to judge the first-ever KitchenAid Cake Off Competition
The winner will not only take home the KitchenAid Cake Off Crown but will also take home a brand-new KitchenAid Oven valued at $1,499.
The runner-up will receive the iconic KSM170 Stand Mixer valued at $999, and the third placeholder will receive a KitchenAid Professional Cake Pan Set valued at $149.
KitchenAid regularly runs free demonstrations in its experience store at Camberwell Electrics, providing hands-on experience to visitors on their appliance range from “baking cookies in the Twelix 3-in-1 Artisan Oven, to creating a salmon dish sure to delight with the unique Chef Touch Sous Vide System.”
