Kayo to Stream Kangaroos’ Historic Ashes Showdown
Mention the Ashes and Australians and Brits immediately think of the cricket.
But sporting rivalries between Australia and the mother country are wide-ranging. Until a couple of decades ago, the two nations regularly did battle on the rugby league oval as well as the cricket field.
That fine tradition is now being revived and Foxtel-owned streamer Kayo Sports will be there to cover it. Later this year, Kayo Sports will stream every match of the Kangaroos’ UK tour live and ad-free during play.
The three-match series marks the first time in 22 years Australia has faced England in an Ashes contest and the first time against a standalone England side. Previously, the Kangaroos clashed with a combined Great Britain team. Australia won the last of 39 Ashes series, held from 1908 onwards, 3-0 in 2003.

It’s going to be a big summer of sport.
Under new coach and Fox League commentator Kevin Walters, Australia will face England at three iconic venues: Wembley Stadium (October 26), Everton Stadium (November 2) and Headingley Rugby Stadium (November 9).
Kayo subscribers will be able to watch all games as part of their existing subscription, with Foxtel also broadcasting the matches.
The Ashes fixtures will run alongside the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Pacific Championships, also streaming live on Kayo.
The men’s tournament will feature powerhouse teams from New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji and the Cook Islands, while the women’s competition will see the Jillaroos battle strong line-ups from New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and the Cook Islands.
