JB Hi-Fi Continues Sales Growth, No FY22 Earnings Guidance

JB Hi-Fi saw sales grow over the first three months of the year, as its predicted “heightened customer demand” came to fruition.

For the March quarter, JB Hi-Fi’s Australian business saw total sales growth of 11.9 per cent, while the New Zealand stores reported 4.8 per cent growth.

The Good Guys saw a modest 5.5 per cent growth year-on-year.

“Whilst the group is pleased with the continued sales momentum, the end of financial year remains an important trading period,” Terry Smart said.

“In view of the ongoing disruption to stock availability and operations arising from COVID-19 and other local and global uncertainties, the group does not currently consider it appropriate to provide FY22 sales and earnings guidance.”
