Danish audio brand Jamo is accelerating its comeback strategy, expanding beyond traditional hi-fi speakers with a new lifestyle-focused wireless speaker lineup aimed at the growing premium Bluetooth market.

The company has unveiled its new HYG series, a Scandinavian-inspired range of Bluetooth speakers designed around the Danish concept of “hygge” – creating warmth, comfort and relaxation in the home. The lineup includes three products: the HYG Flex, HYG Flow and HYG Reflect, all set to launch globally in July.

The release follows Jamo’s recent return to the market under new owners Cinemaster and Rayleigh Lab and the earlier launch of its premium Concert passive speaker ranges.

Leading the new series is the HYG Flex (pictured above), a cylindrical wireless speaker featuring dual angled 25mm tweeters and a dedicated 5-inch woofer designed to deliver room-filling sound.

The speaker supports Auracast connectivity for stereo pairing and multi-room playback with compatible Jamo products. It also includes ambient base lighting and up to 15 hours of battery life.

Jamo is also targeting the portable audio market with the HYG Flow (pictured above), a compact IPX7-rated waterproof speaker built for outdoor use.

Featuring Bluetooth 6.0 and Auracast support, the Flow offers up to 27 hours of playback and includes dual 38mm full-range drivers with passive radiators tuned for vocal clarity, making it suitable for podcasts, audiobooks and radio listening.

Completing the range is the HYG Reflect (below), a bedside speaker combining Bluetooth streaming, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging and alarm clock functionality. Jamo says the unit also includes Scandinavian-inspired ambient soundscapes designed to support sleep and relaxation.

The HYG Flex will retail for US$279, the Flow for US$129 and the Reflect for US$149. Australian pricing is yet to be confirmed.

Jamo returned to the Australian market last year through distributor Audacity Australia with the launch of its MKII active bookshelf speakers.
